After crafting a beautiful bow, it is only proper that you take it out and utilize it in a natural setting that you would find yourself in if hunting a large game animal. Join us for a week of intensive archery, where we will explore the secrets of instinctual archery that has almost been lost and forgotten. This class is sure to get your child addicted to archery so watch out!
Along with the archery skills, students will learn the history of archery and learn to craft stones into arrow heads, using the primal art of flintknapping. Then we will finish with learning about arrow flight and how to make them. (if students did not attend bow making they can use one of ours) **arrows will be provided**
Following the July 19-20th Bow-Making camp, the Woodlands Archery camp is July 21 – 24th — an overnight camp that includes all meals and snacks in addition to the archery equipment campers will use.
