This focused 2-day class will allow students a chance to design, forge and complete a blade suitable either for harvesting either plants or animals on the homestead.
Examples of the harvest blades we’ll focus on include a boning knife or a paring knife … and for those who do wildcrafting, gardening or working in an herb garden — you will leave with a hand-forged blade that fits your hand snugly, won’t slip and will be your go-to tool of choice for outside work.
Class Date: November 21 – 22nd, 2015
8 am – 4 pm each day.
Class Size: The class will be limited to 8 students, each with their own project of forging one item of their own choice that will go towards building a completely customized set of tools over time.
