WHAT IS THE ADVANCED EXTERNAL HERBAL MEDICINE INTENSIVE?
This is 24 hours of online intensive materials for students to have even greater depth of training in certain specialty areas, followed by a live interaction session with instructors. These are designed for apothecarists that would like to create a product line, specialize in a certain area of herbal preparations, or to set up a home apothecary. The intensive will have advanced materials not covered in the main online 12-week external course. The External Medicine online is recommended before doing the Advanced External intensive.

External Medicine Preparations: Learn hands-on processes of creating customized herbal products. We will have hands-on projects for making analgesic herbal liniments, infused castor oil packs, the creation of witch hazel tinctures and resulting skin tonic variations, herbal tooth powder, sexual health preparations, and mastery of medicinal herbal lotions. Training includes lectures on branding, packaging and product presentation guidance, pricing & selling your goods, creating herbal pain management products, safety guidelines/mise en place and herbal skin health. We also will include bonus lectures on skin deodorants and topical creams, and herbal hydrotherapy.
Enrolled students will receive tutorials, recipes and new advanced-level resources along with an herbal care package of herbs, product materials and supplies and containers mailed to them. There is an option to purchase a thumb drive of course material to ship with the herb box.
