Have a sewing machine gathering dust that you’ve never used? Wish you knew how to make simple garments or sew utilitarian items? Learn the basics of sewing in this day workshop that will have you up and running by the end with a simple kitchen apron project.
Using a kitchen apron as a project, students in this class will learn:
Basic tools needed for sewing. How to read and use a pattern. Working with fabric. Basic hand and machine sewing skills
Students will go home with a completed apron.

Class Size: Limited to 5
Location: The Herban Path, Central San Antonio
602 W. French Place, San Antonio TX 78201
Tuition: $75. *A $25 materials fee is due to the instructor at the start of the class.
RSVP deadline: Noon on Wednesday, June 10th
*Please bring your sewing machine if you have one, if not, there will be a machine to share. Also, bring a sack lunch! We will have a working lunch while you learn the sewing basics.
An email will go out with class details the Wednesday before the class.
