Sustainable Skills Series: “Green” Cooking Skills – Sustainable & Post-Disaster Methods
This class will cover the theory and practice of reducing your “cookprint” in the kitchen, wherever that may be. While conserving energy, sourcing local foods, and alternative food storage practices are sustainable, these same practices apply to the preparedness-minded looking to make scarce resources last through difficult times.
This class is ideal for someone wanting to learn how to be prepared for cooking during power outages, in austere environments or post-disaster.
