This focused 2-day class will allow students a chance to design, forge and complete a versatile blade suitable either for harvesting plants or animals on the homestead, or even as a fighting blade.

Examples of the harvest blades that we will focus on include a boning knife or a paring knife … and for those who do wildcrafting, gardening or working in an herb garden — you will leave with a hand-forged blade that fits your hand snugly, won’t slip and will be your go-to tool of choice for outside work.
