This is an online interactive workshop! You can take this from anywhere and you do not have to be present in our area to take the class. *The live class will be recorded and made available for download.

Learn how to make your own botanical brews using local ingredients and specially chosen herbs that we send to you! For generations, families would have their own signature meads, brandies and beers that would be shared at celebrations and around a table of friends and family.
We’ll walk you through the making of medicinal creations that can be used to support your body’s health and also to enjoy with others!
This workshop will cover:
- The basics of making botanical mead
- Making a winter wine
- Steps for making a basic cider
- Choosing herbs to use for bitter and sweet brews
- Need to stay gluten free? We’ll talk about your options
- Some historical recipes you can try
We will be sending a ‘Winter Brews’ packet to you with supplies for making two separate formulas. Students will need to provide containers and honey. Equipment supply lists will go out a month before the class with specific materials to have on hand!
You will need: All preparations we make in this workshop are designed to be made in the home kitchen. Students will need basic kitchen gear like an oven/heat source, spoons, bowls, storage for preparations, baking supplies, etc. A list of exact materials will go out prior to the live class for students who want to make their creations during the session!
*Attendance to the live class is optional, as is making any of the preparations during class. Class will be recorded for students to view later.
What We Send You: We send out a box prior to the workshop with ethically wildcrafted herbs and materials you will need for the class. International shipping is not available for this workshop! International students wishing to participate can request a list of herbs we are sending out to source locally.
