This two-hour makers workshop will cover ways to address feelings of sadness, being overwhelmed, stress, poor sleep patterns and fatigue. It will include physical self-care tips, exercises, herbal recipes, resources as well as several herbal formulas that will be made in the class. We will also talk about the role of caring for others, and how it impacts our ability to care for ourselves.
Take a break and focus on your own self-care for the night. Taught by Suchil Coffman-Guerra, we will talk about sleep and fatigue, supportive foods and teas to help with restore balance, self massage and centering breathing techniques and more.
An additional segment will focus on those who provide care for the elderly, for special needs children and for illness.
Students will make a honey elixir, steam inhalation and medicinal herbal tea blend with materials we send out.
What We Send You: We send out a box prior to the workshop with ethically wildcrafted herbs and materials you will need for making several formulas. Herbs are only shipped within the US. International shipping is not available for this workshop. International students can request a list of the herbs that we are sending out.
You will need: All preparations we make in this workshop are designed to be made in the home kitchen. Students will need basic kitchen gear like an oven/heat source, spoons, bowls, storage for preparations, baking supplies, etc. A list of exact materials will go out prior to the live class for students who want to make their creations during the session!
*Attendance to the live class is optional, as is making any of the preparations during class. Class will be recorded for students to view later.
