10 contact hours · 4 weeks · 2 hours of recorded lecture weekly + a 2-hr supplemental live session
Over four weeks, we go deep into the questions that matter most as men age: testosterone and hormonal aging, sexual health, urinary and prostate health, and cardiovascular wellness.
Rather than matching symptoms to herbs, this course blends Western herbalism with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Western herbalism explains mechanism — androgen support, testosterone production, 5-alpha-reductase activity, endothelial function. TCM describes the terrain those mechanisms sit inside, giving a fuller picture of how plant medicine actually works in the body.
An herbal formula only helps if it reaches the tissue it’s meant to affect, so we also cover how to build more bioavailable medicine — liposomal encapsulation, solvent choice, and other methods that improve delivery. From there, we look at standard lab testing, how to read those numbers, and how to build herbal formulas that work with the full clinical picture rather than one marker at a time.
What This Course Covers
- Aging and testosterone
- Sexual health — libido, function, vitality
- Prostate and urinary health
- Cardiovascular health — blood pressure, lipids, circulation
- Stress, sleep, and metabolism
- Two lenses, one plant: Western herbs read through TCM patterns, TCM herbs read for their Western mechanism, and how switching between the two sharpens your formulation skills
- Medicine-making methods that actually improve bioavailability
- Putting it together — reading the full picture and building one plan
Who is this course for?
Men who want a better handle on their own health. Partners, wives, daughters, and friends looking for concrete answers on this subject. And herbalists and students who’ve noticed how thin the training is here and want to fill in a piece of their education that’s been missing.
What You’ll Be Able to Do

- Address libido, sexual function, and vitality with an appropriate herbal approach
- Support prostate and urinary health as they change with age
- Build cardiovascular support around blood pressure, lipids, and circulation
- Read TCM patterns alongside Western lab markers to build a complete clinical picture
- Choose medicine-making methods suited to bioavailability and tissue delivery
Prerequisites: No prerequisites required. No prior TCM background needed either — the pattern side of the course is built from the ground up.
